well.. it’s been quite a long time i haven’t updated my blog. busy with school. busy with my other stuffs since my mum is here right now. hihi.. can’t wait for chinese new year. especially the foods and the ehm.. you know what i mean. (read: angpao!) LOL.

just got this bulletin from Wilya, old friend from eS-De. about foods and drinks. since i always love everything about food, why not post it here? *wink wink*

life is back to normal, it’s first day of school, and i had 3 classes. Econ, french and another econ. Gee, this term my schedule is full of economics. O how i love econ. What a lie. sigh.. to be honest, i hate econ and will never like it. First class, macro econ… well, the prof is handsome, so i don’t really mind taking this course. HAHAHA.. who doesn’t know Prof. Copplestone? "that hot guy"… oops.. i didn’t say that, my classmate did. i was almost laughing out loud when i heard that. I didn’t know them, but those girls were sitting right behind me, and i think they said it pretty loud. At first, i didn’t know who’ll teach my macro II because it says instructor TBA on my timetable. So, i came early to class, drank my coffee.. and i looked at my watch. O well, its 9:05 already, it must be Copplestone then. How did i know? Because he always comes at least 5 mins late to the class. The class only went ~25 minutes, just some introduction to the course and stuffs.

French.. hmm.. as usual, kinda boring.. and we already started our class. Huh.. Oh, i got my assignment back. Not bad. still an A+, even though i was expecting to get higher than that.
Uh.. uh.. talking about my mark… i already got my econ 151, the one i screwed up on the final, i did NOT fail. Yippie.. and it’s higher than i expected. Happy? Of course I am. I also got 2 other courses’ marks. I did pretty well on Operation Management. Really.. you can’t really guess and tell how you did on your test. I thought i didn’t do really well.. and when i checked my mark, i was so surprised. and HAPPY too. I sent an email to my prof and asked how i did on final exam. he said i got 30/35 on final. WHAT??? couldn’t ask for more. thats way too much than i expected.
Finance? yessh… i was speechless too when i saw my mark. I’m very happy and satisfied with what i did last term. I’d better work harder this term. I’ll try my best..

Back to school again.. my last class for today was econ 163 (international trade). I already heard about the prof from Daniella last year, he said that prof sucks. Huks.. and i think he really does. I just came to his class.. and gee.. the final exam worths 60%. Man… that means one you screw, you fail. Hiks.. hiks.. should i drop this course? i don’t know… i still have to take another hard course (essay maaan..) instead of this class if i want to drop it. Heeeellllppp… but thx G, Julie, my crazy korean friend, is also in the same class as me. Poor her.. she just got special permission to get into this course.. and she just found out the professor sucks. Ha..ha.. and Tony’s sister is also in the same class as me. O,i also met Joyce, the girls that always wears skirt <– thats how Xyla describes her.

hmm.. i’m still on my holiday mood. should change my mood now.. okay.. i’m going home now.. going to clean up my bedroom and transfer photos from my camera. still have more foods to come.

Huh!! i only have few days left for my break.. it feels really short. Well, i wake up very late everyday, especially these last 3 days. Well, i slept quite late though. last night we watched Coach Carter and Fever Pitch. two movies in a row. Both of them were great. if you ask me which one i like better, i can’t answer it. it’s good.

I made lidah kucing yesterday. I still have a lot of egg white left over when i made nastar few days ago. actually, thats what my mom always does, if she makes nastar, she’ll make lidah kucing next bcos you only need egg yolks to make nastar, and you need egg white to make lidah kucing =)

i thought it would be very easy to make this cookie, in fact, it’s not. took Narto forever to finish it. Yes,  he helped me a lot because i was busy cooking for dinner that day.

Can you see how busy he was? Ha .. ha .. you look cute, dear! =)

Nasi Hainan. Everyone’s fave. they always eat a lot when i make this.

Martabak kentang.
One of traditional foods from my hometown. You can find it almost everywhere if you go to Palembang. It has potato, carrot, chicken and green onion inside. and when you eat it you dip it with cuko.

Puding Coklat siram Saus Vla.
requested by Narto. I should’ve used sweet chocolate block to make this. (I used semi-sweet chocolate).

Balado Ampela dan Ketang.
another request by Narto. It happened when we went groceries shopping and we passed by ati ampela. He said, "Nek, bikin ampela dimasak sambel pake kentang. Hmmm…"  So, i bought it and started to search the recipe in the internet. But, i couldn’t find the recipe thats similar to his aunt used to make. We wanted to call her mom to ask the recipe, but it’s still very early in indonesia. So, i just used my imagination to make it, and when it’s done.. he said.. "hmmm.. ini udah mirip sama bikinan ii". Woo hooo…

By the way, what did u do during New year’s eve? we just stayed at home and played monopoly. We had little pizza party going on. We ordered the pizza, then made the pudding coklat for our dessert. Oh… I went watching movie with Narto that night. We watched Cheaper by the dozen 2. Its a funny one even though its kinda boring at the beginning. No crying like when i watched King Kong. haha..
